ADLPipe piping analysis software is used by major corporations throughout the world involved in nuclear power. Originally written in 1967,
it was the first commercially available pipe stress product. It has became the industry standard for high integrity pipe stress analysis in
nuclear power generation because of its ASME Class 1, 2, 3 analysis capability added in 1972.
Late 2005, Bentley Systems acquired ADLPipe through its acquisition of Research Engineers. Since then, combined resources have been working on
integrating ADLPipe with Bentley’s popular pipe stress analysis product AutoPIPE. The new nuclear product AutoPIPE Nuclear Powered by ADLPipe to be
available in Q1/2007 will combine the productive graphical ‘CAD like’ interface of AutoPIPE for modeling and graphical review of results with the
comprehensive nuclear analysis capability of ADLPipe. ADLPipe is backed by many NRC audits and has been used in the analysis of nuclear safety critical pipework
(ASME Class 1) for over 30 years. AutoPIPE is also used by the nuclear industry and can boast over 17 years of the highest nuclear quality assurance
procedure and is certified by NUPIC for use in the design of Nuclear Plant utilities in the USA.
Combining the productive graphical 'CAD like' interface of AutoPIPE with the comprehensive nuclear analysis capability of ADLPipe, provides Bentley with the most
extensive pipe stress solutions for any market.
